Gray Matter is a single-player narrative adventure game written by Jane Jensen, originally released in 2010 and brought to Steam on April 1, 2014. The game is a self-contained story told across eight chapters with a defined beginning and end — there is no post-launch content cycle of any kind. The developer's only communications after the Steam launch were two bug fix posts in April and May 2014 addressing a DirectX compatibility issue on Windows 8. No expansions, DLC, updates, roadmaps, or future content of any kind have ever been announced or released. The game shipped as a complete, finished product and has remained unchanged since its early maintenance patches.
