Green Project

Green Project launched on May 16, 2020 and received a series of feature updates through early 2021, with the last known feature patch (Version 1.4.1) shipping on February 12, 2021. The developer then went quiet for nearly two years before explaining why in a November 12, 2022 post: the two-person team had shifted their full attention to developing a second, separate game (a 3D colony survival title), leaving Green Project without updates in the interim. Critically, the developer stated they "don't forget the necessary updates for the faithful players of Green Project," suggesting some intent to return — however, that was their last communication about the game, and it was posted on November 12, 2022. No updates, patches, or developer communications about Green Project have appeared since then, now over three and a half years ago. The store description explicitly states "no in-app purchases," and there are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no announced future content. The update pattern that existed — roughly one feature patch every 4–6 weeks from launch through early 2021 — has been completely silent since February 2021. Given the extended silence, the developer's own acknowledgment that the team moved on to another project, the absence of any announced future content, and no evidence of a return to active development, the game is best assessed as a complete, finished product. The last meaningful content addition was Version 1.4.1 on February 12, 2021.
