Guardians of the Ashes

Guardians of the Ashes launched into Early Access and graduated to its full 1.0 release on May 28, 2020. The developer explicitly stated in the May 27, 2020 update post that the main storyline was complete and that they would "stop developing new content and focus on fixing bugs and improving some important features." A couple of post-launch patches followed (controller support in June 2020), consistent with that maintenance-only commitment. The sole DLC — "The Lost Memories" — was released before the game itself (February 21, 2020) and is fully available. The most recent developer communication is a June 27, 2025 news post announcing an entirely different game ("Hentai Bae Pinky"), in which the developer explicitly describes returning "after years of absence." This confirms there has been no development activity on Guardians of the Ashes for an extended period, and no new content for this title is planned or indicated. The game shipped as a complete package and has remained so.
