H-Isekai Loves launched on February 11, 2022. The developer, a two-person team at G-Blood, posted infrequent updates over the following years. On November 20, 2025, they published a post explicitly titled "FINAL UPDATE CHARACTERS," confirming that three final characters had been added to the Tavern — completing the content they had previously promised. In that same post, the developers explained that a planned sequel (H-Isekai Loves 2) had been cancelled due to legal difficulties, financial hardship, and personal issues, and that the studio is stepping away from eroge game development entirely. One feature from the cancelled sequel is being spun off into a separate, unrelated title (Nekotype Keyboard Cat Simulator). The developers also noted that the game may eventually be removed from Steam and distributed free keys while supplies last. The only DLC — True Magic — was released on the same day as the base game. With the final content update shipped and the developer explicitly stating no further work will be done on H-Isekai Loves, the game is now complete.
