Evaluation
Hacker Evolution: Untold launched on September 14, 2010 as a complete single-player hacking/puzzle game. It received two DLC packs — Hardcore Package Part 1 (November 13, 2013) and Hardcore Package Part 2 (July 14, 2014) — both of which have been released. The developer issued a major engine overhaul update on May 24, 2014, adding macOS and Linux support. The last developer communication of any kind was on July 28, 2016, which announced a new entry in the series (Hacker Evolution IMMERSION) — not any new content for Untold. No further posts, patches, or announcements for this game have appeared since then. With both DLC packs shipped, no unreleased content listed, and no developer communications about future updates in over a decade, the game is complete.
