Evaluation
Silicon Zeroes launched on September 18, 2017 as a finished puzzle game with over seventy puzzles. In the weeks following launch, the developer (PleasingFungus Games) shipped a series of weekly feature patches — versions 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, and 1.2 — adding new puzzles, Steam leaderboard support, Linux support, and user-generated puzzle tools. The last of these updates, version 1.2 on October 31, 2017, added user-created puzzle support and noted plans for Steam Workshop and leaderboard integration, but those plans were never followed up with a subsequent release or announcement.
After October 2017, the developer's attention shifted to their next project. By June 2021, they were promoting Manufactoria 2022 in Early Access, and by August 2022 that game had fully launched. All developer communications since October 2017 have been about Manufactoria 2022, not Silicon Zeroes.
The only DLC on record is the original soundtrack, which released alongside the game on September 18, 2017. There are no unreleased DLC items, no roadmap, and no developer statements suggesting further content for Silicon Zeroes. The game's post-launch update activity concluded in late 2017, and nearly nine years have passed since the last patch. Silicon Zeroes is a self-contained puzzle game that can be considered complete as of its final update on October 31, 2017.
