hack_me 2 launched on March 11, 2017 as a self-contained story-driven hacking simulation. A single DLC — a free wallpaper pack — was released on April 24, 2017, alongside Steam Trading Cards. That marks the last content released for this game. Since then, the developer's output has been entirely focused on other titles: ReHack (a spiritual successor, released March 2018), hack_me 3 (announced July 2019, first episode released August 2019), Project DeepWeb (released April 2020), Red Rush (released May 2020), Greenhaven Realms (announced July 2024), and Your Personal Chill Apartment (announced March 2025). None of these posts indicate any further content is coming for hack_me 2. The developer has moved on to a succession of new projects, and hack_me 2 itself was described as a complete story experience at launch. There are no unreleased DLCs, no roadmap or promises of future content, and no developer communications suggesting ongoing work on this title. The game is complete.
