Evaluation
Handball 21 launched on November 12, 2020. The only post-launch developer communication was a single bug-fix patch (version 1.1) deployed on December 21, 2020, which addressed crash fixes and stability improvements. Since then — over five and a half years as of today — there have been no further announcements, content updates, DLC releases, or developer communications of any kind. No DLC was ever listed on the store, no roadmap or future content was ever announced, and no post-launch content cycle was ever established. The game launched as a complete, standalone sports title and received only a maintenance patch before all development activity ceased. This is consistent with Eko Software's annual sports game release model, where each numbered installment (Handball 21, Handball 22, etc.) ships as a finished product rather than a live-service game receiving ongoing updates.
Evidence
Patch 1.1 deployed with crash fixes and stability improvements — the only post-launch developer communication on record.
Store description describes a sports simulation with licensed leagues and teams, with no mention of planned DLC, future content, or post-launch updates.
