Harbinger

Harbinger is a free-to-play retro shooter that launched on October 3, 2024. The game shipped as a complete package — the pre-launch playtest in August 2024 was explicitly described as a limited preview, and the developer confirmed the full release would include all three maps and the complete story content. The game launched on schedule with a small burst of patches in October 2024 addressing balancing, performance, and bug fixes. After that initial launch window, developer activity on Harbinger slowed significantly. A single feature patch shipped on June 9, 2025 (an engine update to Unreal Engine 5.5 with some visual and weapon improvements), followed by a minor bug fix on May 23, 2026. Notably, from November 2025 onward, the developer's posts on the Harbinger page began announcing a new, separate game called "Undertaker" — a new FPS set in Transylvania. The developer explicitly noted in the November 17, 2025 post: "I know it's been a while, but I've been cooking" — referring to work on Undertaker rather than Harbinger. A demo for Undertaker became available on December 29, 2025. There is only one DLC listed — a Supporter Pack that released on launch day — and no unreleased DLC entries. The developer has not announced any future content for Harbinger, and the pattern of communications clearly shows the developer's focus has shifted to a new project. The game launched as a complete product and has received only maintenance-level updates since its initial release window. No roadmap, expansion, or future content has ever been announced for the base game.
