Harvest Life launched on November 10, 2017 and received a series of updates through late 2018, including new features, polish passes, and bug fixes. The developer (rokaplay) also ported the game to consoles in October 2021.
The definitive statement on this game's future came on June 3, 2020, when the developer published an explicit post explaining that they would not be releasing any further updates for Harvest Life. They cited their inability to assemble a development team to continue work on the game, compounded by COVID-19 complications. This was not a vague or ambiguous message — the developer directly told players that no new content would be coming.
Subsequent posts from rokaplay on the Harvest Life Steam page (May 2021) were announcements for an unrelated new game (Beasties), not indications of renewed Harvest Life development. The console release in October 2021 was a port by a third party (Joindots), not a sign of new content for the PC version.
The game shipped as a complete product and all post-launch updates have since concluded. No unreleased DLC exists on the store, and the developer's own words confirm development has ended.

And as if your new life as an up-and-coming farmer wasn't already exciting enough, many adventures await you in the forest where wolves and bears are lurking. Will you manage to get the carriage safely through the woods?
