On August 5, 2024, the developer explicitly ruled out ranked mode and dedicated servers as beyond their budget, and stated the team was refocusing purely on making the game "fun and bug free" rather than expanding it tactically. On September 16, 2024, the developer was even more direct: they noted that work and personal commitments had left little time for Havoc, that the game "did not release the way we wanted it to," and that future involvement would be limited to occasional urgent bug fixes and, potentially, community-requested features if time permits. They described the game as "more for you guys than me" going forward.
After that September 2024 post, there were two more feature patches in November 2024 — notably the addition of basic bots on November 11, 2024 — but no developer communications have appeared since then. Given the developer's own statements about limited availability and no plans for major new content, the November 2024 bot update appears to be the last meaningful addition to the game. The developer has never announced a roadmap, season pass, or any named upcoming content.
