High On Life launched on December 13, 2022 as a single-player comedy action-adventure game. Squanch Games released one DLC expansion — High On Knife — on October 3, 2023, which the store description prominently highlights as "OUT NOW." The DLC adds a new bounty hunt adventure with new locations, weapons, characters, and story content, functioning as a mini-sequel to the base game. Following the DLC's release, Squanch Games issued two hotfix patches in October and November 2023 to address crashes and bugs. There are no unreleased DLC items listed on the store, no developer announcements of future content, and no developer communications of any kind after November 1, 2023.
