Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus launched on October 26, 2017. Prior to launch, MachineGames announced The Freedom Chronicles — a three-episode DLC series sold individually and as a Season Pass. All three episodes shipped on schedule: Episode 1 (The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe) on December 13, 2017; Episode 2 (The Diaries of Agent Silent Death) on January 29, 2018; and Episode 3 (The Deeds of Captain Wilkins) on March 12, 2018. The launch post for Episode 3 explicitly describes it as "the final DLC chapter for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus," marking a clear developer statement that the planned content cycle was complete. All four DLC listings on the store — the three episodes and the Season Pass — are marked as released. Following the completion of the DLC, developer activity consisted solely of technical maintenance patches through November 2018, with no new content announced.
