Evaluation
Highly Likely entered Steam Early Access on January 23, 2020 with the first four acts of its planned six-act story. The developer (Mikola Games) was transparent from day one: they had originally planned to release acts 5 and 6 as a paid DLC later, but decided to keep the game unified and finish all six acts before the full release.
Throughout early 2020, the team posted regular updates — reworking quests, fixing bugs, and building out the remaining content. Act 5 was previewed on May 23, 2020, and Act 6 was confirmed complete on July 13, 2020. On August 16, 2020, the developer announced that all six acts were finished and that they were entering a final bug-testing phase before the full release.
The game officially launched out of Early Access on September 18, 2020. The release post celebrated the completion of the project, reflected warmly on the development journey, and noted that the experience gained would be useful for "next projects" — implying Highly Likely itself was finished. No post-launch content, DLC, roadmap, or future update has been announced. The store description still references Early Access language in its body text, but the Steam Early Access flag is not active, and the game is purchasable as a released title.
The game was conceived and delivered as a complete, self-contained story (the first entry in a planned trilogy). It launched as a finished product with all planned content included. There has been no developer communication since the September 2020 launch period, and no further content has been announced or released.

If we were to describe our game in a few words, they would be Ukraine, Moonshine and Oil!
The game is inspired by the historical period of Prohibition in the US, the legendary Franklin County moonshiners with a modern twist and in a new place!
The first part of the trilogy, Highly Likely, is a surreal Singleplayer 2D Side Scroller Adventure about a funny and somewhat naive character called Mikola who is trying to do all he can to save his homestead. The game is currently in Early Access.
The story unfolds in a most ordinary Ukrainian farmstead near the Polish border, where the main character, Mikola, lives with his wife. In pursuit of his dream, he lands in tough circumstances and finds himself facing the threat of total ruin. It would seem that it's over, and there’s no hope. However, fate gives our hero a chance, albeit a very dangerous one, in the form of an “abandoned” oil pipeline. Realizing that he has nothing left to lose, Mikola, without thinking twice, decides to use it and, using various improvised devices, moonshiners style, starts a risky venture that involves him in incredibly amusing, sometimes dangerous and unpredictable adventures.
