HITMAN™

HITMAN (2016) is the first season of IO Interactive's episodic Hitman series. It launched on March 11, 2016 and received several content updates during its active period, including bonus missions and a July 2017 gameplay patch. The game's content cycle concluded with the release of the Game of the Year Edition on November 7, 2017, which bundled all Season 1 content alongside the new "Patient Zero" bonus campaign, three new escalation contracts, three new outfits, and three new weapons. The store description explicitly describes this as a complete package containing all missions and locations from the first season. In November 2018, IO Interactive announced that HITMAN 2 had launched, and that HITMAN owners would receive the Legacy Pack — effectively migrating the Season 1 content into HITMAN 2, signaling a clear handoff. The game is no longer available for purchase on Steam, making it delisted. No further content has been announced for this title since the GOTY release in November 2017.
