Home Sweet Home: Survive launched on Steam in Early Access on March 25, 2021. On June 1, 2024, the development team published an official announcement stating that player access to the game would end on September 1, 2024. The team explained that the game had been fully superseded by a separate title, Home Sweet Home: Online, which launched on June 22, 2023. In-game purchases had already been closed since June 15, 2023, and all player account data was transferred to the Online version at that time. The game is no longer purchasable on Steam, confirming it has been removed from sale. Players who were part of this game were directed to Home Sweet Home: Online, which is available as a free-to-play title.

Home Sweet Home : Survive is a brand new asymmetrical game that consists of 1 warden hunting 4 visitors in an arena. There are two core gameplays depended on the role players take.
The warden is to strategically hunt 4 visitors letting no one escape, and not being killed by visitors. Each warden will have different stats and special abilities offering various ways of hunting visitors.
The visitors have to cooperate to complete the objective. Each character will have different stats and unique abilities supporting each role of play - decoy, damage, or perform the rituals. Things will drastically change after the objective is completed. The game will test personal dilemma choosing either teaming up to eliminate the warden or saving own self by leaving the arena. escaping the Hindrance, or be the warden and hunt and collect souls.
