How to Take Off Your Mask

How to Take Off Your Mask is a visual novel that launched on July 10, 2015. It received a significant v2.0 update on March 3, 2018, which overhauled the GUI, added new shortcut keys, and improved sound effects — bringing the game's interface in line with its sequel. No further updates to this specific title have been announced or released since then. The developer's subsequent activity has been focused on other titles in the Eroolia series and beyond: the sequel "How to Fool a Liar King" launched October 21, 2017; "How to Sing to Open Your Heart" launched January 17, 2019; a separate game "Takorita Meets Fries" launched October 1, 2020; and remastered editions of all three Eroolia games were released in early 2022 (with How to Take Off Your Mask Remastered getting its demo announced January 28, 2022, and the other two remastered titles shipping in April and May 2022). Notably, while the remastered versions of the sequel and third game shipped in 2022, the How to Take Off Your Mask Remastered store page was announced but no news post confirms its full release — activity on this original title's store page reflects that developer activity. The original How to Take Off Your Mask has no unreleased DLC on the store, no announced future content, and no developer communication indicating further updates are planned for it. The v2.0 patch from March 3, 2018 appears to be the last substantive update to this game, and the developer has moved on to releasing remastered and new titles. This game launched and was completed as a standalone visual novel.
