Hunger Dungeon

Hunger Dungeon launched on December 6, 2016 as a free-to-play multiplayer arena game. It received regular updates and new heroes throughout early 2017, and a "New Challenger Pack" DLC shipped on March 15, 2019. Both DLC items in the store listing are fully released. On October 28, 2022, the sole developer (Dinaya) posted a heartfelt farewell message explicitly stating that Hunger Dungeon is finished. She described how the game failed commercially, the team disbanded, and she left the industry for several years before returning to develop a new game called "Last Command." The post closes with a direct thank-you to Hunger Dungeon players and the line "Hunger Dungeon, thank you for playing" — a clear signal that no further development is planned. She added that she hopes the IP might appear again someday "if there is a chance in the future," but frames this as a distant hope rather than a concrete plan, and it does not contradict her conclusion that the game's development is now complete. All DLC has shipped, the developer has explicitly closed the book on this project, and the last meaningful communication was that farewell post on October 28, 2022. Hunger Dungeon is a finished game.
