Hyper Color Ball launched on September 2, 2016 as a small casual game created during a game jam. Just four days after launch, on September 6, 2016, the developer posted a patch adding a few fixes and minor features (a sensitivity option and a music importer). That is the last known communication related to this game. The only other developer news post (from April 11, 2017) promotes a completely different game — Sol Ni Koro — and contains no reference to Hyper Color Ball. There is no DLC, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no further updates of any kind. The game was conceived as a game jam project and appears to have shipped as a finished, self-contained product with no ongoing development cycle.
