HYPNOS entered Early Access on May 6, 2026, with Redlock Studio being transparent that the game is unfinished and that Early Access is the vehicle for completing it. On June 8, 2026, the developer published a detailed roadmap laying out five named upcoming updates — "The Balance Queen," "The Dreamers and the Dead," "The Last Monarch," "Circular // Cycles," and the final "HYPNOS - The Maze Chronicles" update — with the last explicitly marking the end of Early Access and the game's full 1.0 release. The first roadmap update ("Of the Dual Tale") shipped alongside that post. The most recent developer communication, posted on August 31, 2026, confirms the team is still actively working.
