Red Haze

Red Haze launched in February 2017 and has been receiving content updates for nearly a decade, with the developer progressively building toward a complete version of the game. A major update on July 11, 2024 added three new endings, dozens of new rooms, new monsters, and expanded voice acting, completing what the developer called the "Main Area" of the game. On August 7, 2025, the developer announced a final content update targeting December 2025, which was subsequently delayed due to a family health situation. On September 10, 2026, the developer posted a news update confirming that the Final Update will release on September 24, 2026 as a free update. This update adds Ending A, unlocks the A-Z Door (accessible after collecting all 26 regular endings), adds new secrets and random events, expands the "Bruises Glimmer in Starlight" DLC with new Chapter 1 content, and adds a new Chapter 2 to the DLC. The developer explicitly states this is "the final update of Red Haze outside of fixing any bugs found afterward." This is a direct developer statement that Red Haze's content development will be complete upon this update's release on September 24, 2026. The game will be content-complete as of that date, with only potential bug-fix patches remaining.
