Ib is a remake of the 2012 original, released on Steam on April 11, 2022. Since launch, the developer and publisher steadily expanded the game's reach through localization updates (English, Korean, Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Thai, and Brazilian Portuguese were added across 2022–2023) and platform ports — Nintendo Switch (announced September 2022) and PlayStation 4/5 (launched March 14, 2024). There is no DLC, season pass, or expansion content associated with this game. The store description presents a complete, self-contained adventure with a fixed set of features and endings. No roadmaps, unshipped content, or future announcements have been made. The most recent developer communication (February 28, 2026) was an anniversary sale post — a routine promotional activity, not a development update. The game appears to have reached its fully expanded state with the PlayStation release in March 2024, after which no further platform ports or content additions have been announced or hinted at.
