ICED launched on May 15, 2017 and received one free DLC pack (Nightmares Pack) on August 15, 2017. A second DLC called "ICED Land" was announced on May 17, 2017, but a developer post on May 22, 2017 confirmed it was cancelled — the team concluded it could not be implemented as DLC and would need to be a separate project. That separate project never materialized as part of ICED.
The developer also announced ICED VR as a separate standalone product in late 2017 and 2018, which is a different game on Steam and not additional content for ICED itself.
After a few feature patches in 2018, the most recent developer communication was a feature patch on May 28, 2021, adding inventory and movement improvements. No content has been released since then, and the developer has made no announcements of any planned future updates or expansions. The sole DLC listed on the store is marked as released, and no unreleased DLC entries exist.
Given that the last meaningful developer activity was on May 28, 2021 — over five years before today's date of June 27, 2026 — and there are no outstanding commitments or announced future content, the game appears to have concluded its update cycle. The May 28, 2021 feature patch represents the most recent update to the game, making that the most defensible completion date.

The main aim is to survive until a chopper with the rescue team arrives.
The gameplay: the player shall monitor the health indices; look for the items like food, water, medications, burner gas in the possessions other fishermen left behind. These items will help him last for another several hours.
The player’s dreams will feature the challenges, determining his spirit and state of mind. The worse the latter are, the tougher it is for the player to survive, while the challenges will become more and more complicated.
The events unfold in the abnormal weather conditions, the temperature can drop unexpectedly, putting the protagonist’s life at risk – if he is far from the tent, it would be difficult to come back in poor visibility conditions and survive the extreme cold.
There are also other risks, for instance, slipping during running or jumping, causing an injury preventing the protagonist from providing for himself, and, consequently causing his death.
