Idle Skilling

Idle Skilling launched on September 15, 2022 as a free-to-play idle game. Shortly after launch, on September 20, 2022, the developer announced the next major update — the "Afterlife" — scheduled for October 21, 2022. That update shipped on October 22, 2022 (NEWS-1), adding a large amount of new content including a minion system with 73 types, boss fights, and a new endgame area called the Lords Lair. The developer described this update as something they had been planning since 2020, framing it as a significant milestone. Since the Afterlife update on October 22, 2022, there have been no further developer news posts, no announced upcoming content, and no unreleased DLC listed on the store. The short store description does include the line "With new updates coming, you'll never run out of stuff to do!" — however, this appears to be generic marketing copy that predates or accompanied launch, and no specific updates have materialized in the roughly three and a half years since the Afterlife shipped (as of June 26, 2026).
