Ignis Universia: Eternal Sisters Saga DX
Released Dec 2020
A short game with a long name. Mashes up JRPG battles with Visual Novel storytelling. Not entirely serious.

Evaluation
Ignis Universia: Eternal Sisters Saga DX is a free-to-play RPG that launched on December 7, 2020 as a complete, self-contained game. It shipped with one DLC ("Overpriced DLC") on the same day as the base game, which has been released since launch. The developer's post-launch activity focused on small quality-of-life patches (language support, font fixes, bug fixes) rather than new story content.
The developer's energy shifted entirely toward a sequel — Ignis Universia: Awakening of the Erudite Empress — announced in March 2021, with two separate Kickstarter campaigns (July 2021 and February 2022). All developer communications about future content refer to this separate game, not to additional content for the original title. There is no announced DLC, expansion, or update roadmap for this game. The last developer post of any kind was on February 5, 2022, and it was entirely about the sequel's Kickstarter campaign.
With all existing DLC released, no outstanding content commitments, and the developer's focus clearly on a separate sequel project, this game launched and remains a complete, finished product.
Evidence
Developer announces a sequel (Awakening of the Erudite Empress) as a separate Steam product, signaling the original game's content cycle is complete and future efforts are directed elsewhere.
The one DLC ('Overpriced DLC') was released on the same day as the game itself. No unreleased DLC exists.

About this game

The dread wizardess Galgatax has awoken yet again and it's up to you to find the Chosen Sisters and travel to the Hellfire Peak to defeat the monster that has been summoned.
If you've read this far, you should probably just download the game. It's free, you know. Especially if you are a fan of, say, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger or Dragon Quest. Just saying.
- More locations you can count (with the fingers of one hand after a disfiguring accident)
- Deep engaging combat mechanics (for a three-year-old)
- Immersive and epic storyline and colourful characters (literally, they're not black & white)
- Just added this bullet point to make the list longer. It's not like anyone reads these, right?
