Evaluation
IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover is no longer available for purchase on Steam — the store page has no purchase options. This "Classic" edition was effectively superseded on December 14, 2017, when the developer released IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover BLITZ (a separate Steam app, ID 754530) as the updated and improved commercial successor. At that time, all existing owners of the Classic edition received BLITZ for free. The Classic edition's store page remains visible but cannot be purchased, making it delisted in practice. The last developer communication for this specific title dates to December 14, 2017, which was the BLITZ launch announcement redirecting players to the new product.
Evidence
Developer announced the release of IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover BLITZ as a separate Steam product (App ID 754530), with all existing Classic owners receiving BLITZ for free. This effectively replaced the Classic edition.
No purchase options are available for this edition — it cannot be bought on Steam.
