Evaluation

Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb is a classic point-and-click adventure game that was re-released on Steam on November 26, 2014. It is a port of a game originally released in 1994, arriving on Steam as a complete, finished product. Following its Steam launch, the developer posted two updates in December 2014: a bug fix patch on December 8, 2014, and the addition of German language support on December 18, 2014. There has been no developer communication of any kind since December 18, 2014. The store description contains no mention of DLC, expansions, seasons, or any future content plans. There are no DLC listings of any kind. This game launched as a complete, self-contained adventure with no post-launch content cycle — the two December 2014 posts were purely maintenance and localization work, not indicators of ongoing development. The game is complete.
