This game is a free prologue/demo for the full Junkyard Simulator game. It is no longer available for purchase or download on Steam — no purchase options are currently available, meaning it has been removed from the storefront.
The developer explicitly stated on November 8, 2022 that the prologue has not been updated since its release day and is "out of date in many ways," directing players to the Early Access version of the full game instead. A January 24, 2024 post reiterated this, noting the prologue "hasn't been updated for many years." All meaningful development activity — including a major junkyard business mechanics update in October 2023 and a delivery mechanics update in January 2024 — has been directed at the separate full game (App ID 671970), not this prologue. This prologue served its purpose as a free preview and has since been delisted.
