Evaluation

KAZ launched on July 13, 2026 and has received a steady stream of post-launch updates. The developer quickly shipped bug fixes and balance patches (July 15 and August 1, 2026), and on August 4, 2026 published a Theme Roadmap committing to new monthly themes in August, September, and October 2026. Both the August and September themes have since shipped: a community artist-created theme arrived on August 13, 2026, and a Roguecraft DX collaboration theme arrived on September 10, 2026 — the latter also introduced a cross-game Steam bundle and relaunched the demo for community feedback. The developer explicitly stated that "more collaborations and new themes [are] still to come," and the October theme from the original roadmap has not yet been released as of today (September 17, 2026). The developer has been consistently communicative, posting updates roughly every two to four weeks since launch, and has shown no signs of slowing down. At least one more announced theme remains outstanding.

About this game

KAZ is a psychedelic dopamine rush built for score chasers and one-more-run addicts. Find your flow and push your reflexes to the limit, or slow things down and play tactical with limited moves. Four buttons, zero excuses, and a screen full of flashing color to keep you in the zone.

  • Easy to grab but requires time to master

  • More than 145 quests to unlock

  • 5 game modes for fastest fingers and a no-time-limit tactical gameplay

Every theme comes with its own power-up, so changing your look also changes how you play. Pick the vibe that feels like you, learn what its power can do, and see how much chaos you can squeeze out of it.

  • More than 25 themes to choose from that fits your vibe

  • Each theme has its own special ability to create unique playstyles

  • Community-created and artist collab featured themes

Stack the right mix of items, boosts, spells, and consumables and you'll survive into endless rounds that keep getting flashier and downright ridiculous. Stack the wrong ones and it's back to round one. Keep an eye on your maluses too: some hide surprising power-ups, others will cut your run short.

  • 6 weapons to choose from get help you at the start of each run

  • More than 110 items to choose in between rounds

  • More 35 maluses to choose as a lesser evil when your curse gauge is full

Whether you chase high scores, plan every move, or just have stupidly fast fingers, there's a leaderboard spot with your name on it. Show your friends how deep you made it into the rounds, and keep an eye out: the quickest and sharpest players win special rewards now and then.
