Kingdom's Life launched on February 28, 2022 and has received a steady stream of updates since then. The developer shipped two major content updates post-launch: a large overhaul in October 2022 (v1.1) and an even bigger redesign in June 2023 that rebuilt much of the game from the ground up — new graphics, new mechanics, new diplomacy systems, new units, and a fully developed industrialism era. Beyond those, the developer has released several feature patches and numerous bug fixes throughout 2022–2024. The most recent developer communication was a feature patch on October 5, 2024, which included balance reworks, engine migration, performance improvements, and UI updates. That post does not announce any upcoming content or suggest further updates are planned. Looking at the pattern of major content releases: the first was October 2022, the second was June 2023 — roughly an 8-month interval. Since June 2023, no further major content has shipped. As of October 2024 (the last developer communication), over 16 months had passed since the last major release — well beyond that established 8-month cadence. The October 2024 patch was maintenance and polish work rather than new content. No new content has been announced, no unreleased DLC is listed, and no roadmap or future plans have been communicated. The developer also posted in September 2023 about a new, separate game (Logistic Master), which may indicate a shift in studio focus. There has been no developer communication since October 5, 2024 — over 8 months of silence as of today (June 22, 2026). Given the absence of any announced future content, the silence well past the historical update cadence, and the developer's apparent pivot to a new title, the game appears to have concluded its active development cycle with the October 2024 patch serving as its final update.
