Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning launched on September 8, 2020 as a remaster of the original 2012 RPG, bundling all DLC from the original release. At launch, the developer announced that a new expansion called Fatesworn was in development for 2021.
Fatesworn released on December 14, 2021 as the game's sole paid expansion, adding a new storyline, environment, quests, and gameplay systems. Following its release, the developer shipped a free Arena Mode update on December 23, 2022, adding three new arena locations and challenge content. The most recent update, released on March 17, 2023, added a free scavenger hunt quest centered on the character Alyn Shir, with new hidden locations and lore.
