Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy launched on February 10, 2023 and has continued to receive post-launch updates from Avalanche Software. The most significant post-launch additions include the Dark Arts Pack DLC (released at launch on February 10, 2023), and a substantial free PC Modding update that launched on January 31, 2025, introducing an in-game Mod Manager and a Creator Kit that allows players to build and share custom content. Following that modding launch, the developer shipped a series of feature patches: February 27, 2025 (mod system refinements), April 17, 2025 (additional modding tools and GPU support improvements), June 10, 2025 (Creator Kit enhancements), and October 15, 2025 (ROG Ally handheld support and mod fixes). The most recent developer communication was a hotfix on December 3, 2025, resolving a mod-favourites display issue. Most recently, a new DLC — the Astronomer's Hat — was released on September 1, 2026, indicating the developer is still adding paid content to the game. No developer statement has been made indicating that development is winding down or that no further content is planned.
