Fable Anniversary launched on September 12, 2014 as a fully remastered version of the original Fable. All three DLC packs (the Scythe Content Pack, Heroes and Villains Content Pack, and Modding DLC) were released on the same day as the game itself, meaning the complete package was available from day one. Following launch, Lionhead Studios issued several patches through November 2014 to address bugs, improve keyboard/mouse support, add Steam Workshop integration, and refine gameplay balance — but no new content was ever added after release. The last developer communication was a feature patch on November 7, 2014. The store description explicitly calls Fable Anniversary "the full HD, definitive Fable experience," signaling this was intended as a complete, finished product. No future content was ever announced, and no updates of any kind have been posted since late 2014. This game shipped as a complete package and has been content-complete since its launch date.
