The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim launched on November 10, 2011 and received three major paid expansions — Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn — which shipped in 2012. On October 28, 2016, Bethesda released Skyrim Special Edition, a remastered version bundling the base game and all three DLC expansions, effectively representing the complete and final packaged form of the game's content. No new story content, expansions, or DLC for the original Skyrim (App ID 72850) has been announced or released since then. The only DLC listed on the store page is the official soundtrack (released February 11, 2020), which is supplemental media rather than game content. The most recent developer communication was a September 5, 2024 launcher update focused on technical improvements and streaming platform support — routine maintenance rather than new content development. Bethesda's attention shifted to Skyrim Special Edition (a separate Steam product) and subsequent titles. This original Skyrim release is a complete, finished product.
