Major content milestones included the "Clash of Champions" boss rush update (May 30, 2024), Version 1.5 "Master of Fate" (April 24, 2024), and the landmark Version 2.0 "Definitive Edition" update (April 17, 2025), which overhauled co-op, added a Free Friend's Pass, and incorporated a wide range of community-driven improvements. On December 11, 2025, CI Games explicitly announced Version 2.5 as "the FINAL MAJOR UPDATE" for Lords of the Fallen, describing it as a "definitive, polished" experience after two years of development.
