Evaluation

Knock'Em Out launched in Early Access and received consistent updates throughout development — new maps, mechanics, skins, and gameplay improvements roughly every 1–3 months. It reached its full 1.0 release on April 17, 2025 (two new maps, a new Spear mechanic), and then shipped version 1.1 on June 2, 2025 (Axes map, online server improvements). Both of those posts invited players to share ideas for future updates via Discord. However, June 2, 2025 remains the last developer communication specifically about Knock'Em Out. Since then — over 16 months as of October 1, 2026 — the developer's Steam posts have been entirely about a different title, "An Eggstremely Hard Game," which was announced on October 29, 2025 and had a demo go live on December 3, 2025. The established update cadence for Knock'Em Out was roughly every 1–3 months; 16 months of silence far exceeds even the most generous reading of that window. No roadmap, no announced DLC, and no unreleased content remain on the store. The developer has made no statement explicitly ending support, but the pattern of activity — pivoting entirely to a new game, no post-1.1 updates, no community engagement on Knock'Em Out — is consistent with the game having concluded its content cycle with version 1.1.
