Last Group Out launched on February 17, 2022 and has received a continuous stream of updates from solo developer Woodland Development ever since. The two most recent major updates are Update 0.01.1300M (October 25, 2025), which overhauled the player base, added new crafting, animations, weapons, and a Halloween event, and Update 0.01.1444M (May 3, 2026), which added a full player-driven auction house (the Flea Market-style Player Market), a new Outskirts map, new bosses and enemies, a new quest giver with 10 quests, and three new weapons. Since that major May 2026 update, the developer has continued shipping feature patches and events: a new containers update with quality-of-life improvements on June 28, 2026, a Head Hunter Event activating all 8 bosses with special rewards on July 28, 2026, and a bug fix patch on August 2, 2026. The most recent communication is from August 2, 2026 — just 17 days before today's assessment date. No statement has been made indicating that development is winding down or complete. The developer has not published a forward-looking roadmap naming specific future content, but the consistent and very recent update activity spanning years demonstrates this game continues to receive active, ongoing development.
