Lightseekers

Lightseekers is a free-to-play digital trading card game that launched on Steam on January 31, 2019. During 2019, PlayFusion was actively developing the game, shipping five major content updates: the Uprising expansion with 202 new cards, Adventure Mode, and Draft Mode in May 2019; Battle Packs in July 2019; a new Independence campaign in July 2019; and the Shadow League expansion — described as "the biggest update ever" — bringing 186 new cards and sweeping game mechanic changes in October 2019. Feature patches in between added Weekly Challenges, a login calendar, and ranked reward systems. The game also featured a rotating card set system for competitive play designed to refresh every two months, indicating an intent for ongoing live content management. However, the last developer communication of any kind on Steam was the Shadow League launch post on October 21, 2019. There have been no developer posts, patch notes, announcements, or status updates in the more than six years since that date. Given the game's free-to-play structure with an in-game store and rotating competitive sets that were designed to update regularly, the extended silence makes it impossible to determine whether the live systems are still being maintained, whether the servers are operational, or whether PlayFusion has quietly wound down support for the game.
