Lily's Night Off launched on August 19, 2018 as a complete visual novel with over 15 endings. Shortly after launch, the developer shipped a content update on October 30, 2018 (v1.1 — the "Beach Update") that added four new beach-themed endings, bringing additional story content to the game. On March 21, 2020, the developer released v1.5, which added Spanish and French translations, representing the last substantial content addition to the game. Most recently, on March 3, 2026, the developer released v1.6, which added a Turkish localization and patched a Unity security vulnerability. This latest update is maintenance in nature — it adds a community-contributed translation and a security fix, but does not introduce new story content. The developer has not announced any upcoming DLC, expansions, or new story content. The game has no DLC listings. The store description presents the game as a complete product. Based on all available signals, the game's content was complete as of the v1.5 update on March 21, 2020, with only localization and maintenance patches since then.

Lily's Night Off is a visual novel which puts the player in the position of the main character. You will play through the game and make choices as you interact with Lily, Nym, and Vicky: the famous pop idol sensations, The Lilypads.

However, this is not your typical visual novel where each route gives you new information on solid character personalities. Each choice reveals that locations, stories, and even characters are not what they may seem.

There are over 15 endings in total.

This is a comedy visual novel. There are no explicit scenes. There are some violent and scary scenes, however.

The game will feature over 10 unique songs, artwork from over 12 different artists, more than 15 crazy endings, and lots of ridiculous situations!
