Little Green Girl

Little Green Girl is a free-to-play episodic visual novel in Early Access on Steam. Only Episode 1 is currently available, covering the first six days of the story across three character routes (Yana, Stasya, and Kristina). The store page explicitly states that further episodes are in development. The developer has maintained consistent communication throughout 2024 and 2025. Their December 31, 2024 roadmap post outlined plans for 2025, including the OST, an art book, technical improvements, and Episode 2 — which had been expanded to 8 days per route. The three DLC items (the official soundtrack, a free music collection, and an audio drama bonus story) all released on March 31, 2025, fulfilling those specific roadmap commitments. Most recently, on December 31, 2025, the developer posted a New Year's message explicitly confirming that development of the next episode is actively ongoing, stating "Development is in full swing, and the release date is drawing ever closer" and promising "many new adventures with your favorite characters lie ahead." This is the most recent developer communication, and it leaves no ambiguity about the game's ongoing development status. A February 7, 2026 news post promotes a separate unrelated game called EON by the same publisher — this does not bear on the development status of Little Green Girl itself. Episode 2 remains undelivered as of October 8, 2026 — approximately nine months after the December 2025 confirmation of active development. While this is a notable gap, the developer has not gone silent in a way that breaks an established communication pattern; the game has had periodic updates and the last post was a substantive development status update.
