Evaluation

Lively Chair Simulator launched on October 20, 2023 as a free-to-play indie game by solo developer Niko Salocin. After launch, the developer shipped two major content updates: new single-player levels on January 20, 2024, and a substantial 1st Anniversary update on October 20, 2024 that added three new multiplayer mini-games, a new playable chair, and expanded the player limit. This established a cadence of roughly 6-12 months between major updates. However, today's date is October 1, 2026 — nearly two full years since the last major update on October 20, 2024, and nearly a year since the last developer communication of any kind. That silence far exceeds the historical 6-12 month update window. No future content has been announced, no roadmap has been published, and no developer statement about continued development exists. The store description and game features appear fully consistent with what has already shipped. With the silence now well beyond the established update cadence and no outstanding commitments, the game appears to have reached its completed state as of the October 2024 anniversary update.

About this game

Lively Chair Simulator is a game with freaky controls. In the game, you are moving a chair by controlling each of the legs of the chair individually. Sounds difficult, but walking is not the limit of a chair. They can run and maybe jump. Have a Try, it is free for now. See if you are suitable for being a chair.

It is not a WASD system, instead, it is a QWERASDFGH system, four for moving legs forward, four for moving legs backward, and two for abilities.

It is important to have a basic understanding of the system.

In single mode, there are some levels to let you get good control of the chair. Some chairs may not be suitable for passing all levels. After finishing the levels, you should know how to walk, run, upslope, upstairs, push boxes, and jump.

In multiplayer mode, there are six games. 15m Race and Seesaw games can be started with only one player.
