Logic World is a digital logic sandbox that has been in Early Access since October 22, 2021, and remains there today. Mouse Hat Games is continuing to develop the game toward a 1.0 release. The development team shipped a major update, The Subassembly Update (v0.92), on October 22, 2025, adding the long-requested ability to save and reuse groups of components. This was followed by the Demo World update (v0.92.2) on December 18, 2025, and a substantial feature patch (v0.92.3) on July 9, 2026 that brought improvements to game startup performance and the modding system. The most recent patch, v0.92.4, shipped on September 10, 2026, fixing performance issues in large worlds. The September 10 post notes the team is "working on a bunch of other stuff" with "more updates coming soon." Looking further ahead, the developers have announced an ambitious full codebase rewrite called "Project One Billion" (POB), which began in February 2025 and became the team's primary focus after the Subassembly Update shipped. The goal is to increase simulation capacity from roughly 10 million components to 1 billion or more, ultimately enabling MMO-scale shared worlds. This is a major declared commitment for the game's future. There is a meaningful financial uncertainty surrounding the studio. In January 2026, lead developer Jimmy disclosed that he had failed to generate enough revenue to sustain full-time work on Logic World and returned to part-time development. A Patreon was subsequently launched (referenced in the July 2026 update post), but the developer has not publicly confirmed that the funding situation has been fully resolved or that full-time work has been restored. Development is ongoing at a part-time pace.
