Lorelai launched on April 26, 2019 as the concluding chapter of the Devil Came Through Here trilogy, explicitly described in its store page as "the conclusive part" of that series. This positions it as a self-contained, finished narrative product by design. Post-launch activity has been limited to a fan-contributed translation update in June 2020 (version 1.1.0) and a December 2022 news post announcing that the developer had released a separate new game, Burnhouse Lane — neither of which signal planned additions to Lorelai itself. The most recent developer communication related to Lorelai, from July 18, 2025, is an announcement for yet another new game (Trainwatch, targeting 2026), with only a brief thank-you note to Lorelai buyers. This confirms the developer has moved on to new projects. No DLC, expansions, or future content for Lorelai have ever been announced. The game shipped as a complete story experience and has remained so.
