The Cat Lady

The Cat Lady launched on December 4, 2013 as a complete, self-contained psychological horror adventure game. Following release, the developer (Harvester Games / Screen 7) issued several quality-of-life patches between 2015 and 2018 — adding languages, quicksave functionality, and engine upgrades — but no new story content or DLC was ever announced or released beyond the free music soundtrack included with the game. The sole DLC listed on the store is the game's soundtrack album (released November 25, 2015), which ships bundled with every copy. The developer's most recent communications confirm the game is being maintained for compatibility on modern hardware — a March 19, 2026 post advises new players on graphics settings to prevent crashes — but explicitly notes this is an old game running on older technology, with no plans for a Unity remake or new content. The developer's attention has moved on to a new project: on July 18, 2025, Harvester Games announced their next game, Trainwatch, for release in 2026. This strongly indicates The Cat Lady is a completed, finished product. No outstanding content commitments exist.
