Love is Dead launched on May 31, 2018 as a complete puzzle game. Shortly after launch, on June 15, 2018, the developer shipped a patch (v1.1.1.0) that added sound effects, fixed bugs, and improved performance. In that same post, the developer mentioned "there'll be plenty more updates for Love is Dead over the coming months" — but that was over eight years ago, and no further updates, content announcements, or developer communications have appeared since. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no roadmap, and no seasonal or live-service structure. The store description presents the game as a self-contained puzzle adventure. Given the complete absence of any developer activity after June 2018 and no evidence of planned content, the game is best understood as a finished product that shipped complete.
