Lovely Planet 2: April Skies

Lovely Planet 2: April Skies launched on June 18, 2019 and received a steady stream of post-launch updates. In the weeks following release, the developer shipped several feature updates adding Arcade Mode (July 1, 2019), key rebinding, shop cosmetics, and other quality-of-life improvements. The most substantial post-launch content — "The Lost Levels" (Update 12, August 8, 2019) — added an entirely new World 6 with the most challenging levels in the series. After that content drop, developer activity shifted to maintenance. A February 2023 engine update (Update 13) added macOS x64 support and minor UI improvements, followed by a bug fix in June 2023 (Update 13.4) addressing an FPS drop issue. No new content has been announced since The Lost Levels shipped in August 2019, and the developer has made no statements indicating further expansions or updates are planned. The most recent communication was on June 26, 2023. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no roadmap promises, and no season pass structure. The game launched as a self-contained experience, received one major expansion, and has since been maintained but not expanded. It is a complete package.
