LUNARK launched on March 30, 2023 as a complete, self-contained cinematic platformer. Following release, the developer shipped one post-launch patch on April 21, 2023 (version 1.1.0) addressing gameplay feel, quality-of-life improvements, and bug fixes. The only DLC ever released is the official soundtrack, which became available on May 8, 2023 — a cosmetic/audio release with no gameplay content implications.
Since mid-2023, there have been no further game updates. The developer's most recent Steam communications have focused on a vinyl release of the LUNARK soundtrack (November 29, 2024) and the announcement of an entirely new game called Castaway (April 16, 2024) — both of which indicate the developer has moved on to new projects rather than continuing LUNARK development.
The store description presents LUNARK as a complete narrative experience with a defined beginning, middle, and end.
