Evaluation
Magic Duels has been removed from storefronts and is no longer purchasable. The publisher, Wizards of the Coast, posted two official announcements detailing the end of the game. On June 13, 2017, they stated that the Amonkhet set (released April 26, 2017) would be the final content update for Magic Duels, explicitly noting that the next set, Hour of Devastation, would not be added to the platform. Then on November 26, 2019, Wizards of the Coast announced the removal of Magic Duels from online storefronts, the shutdown of the in-game store and all purchasing functions, while noting that existing players could still access multiplayer and single-player content. The game is no longer available for purchase, confirming its delisted status.
