Evaluation

Marble Age is a turn-based historical strategy game that released on March 4, 2015. After launch, the developer (Clarus Victoria) shipped several patches through 2015–2017, adding localization support (German, Spanish), balance improvements, and bug fixes. The last recorded update to the game itself was a bug fix patch on February 2, 2017 (version 2.9.8). No DLC was ever released for this game, and the store description contains no indication of planned future content. The developer's attention shifted away from Marble Age toward new titles: Pre-Civilization Egypt (announced in late 2016, released in 2016), Egypt: Old Kingdom (released May 24, 2018), and eventually Marble Age: Remastered — a substantially improved standalone successor announced on October 8, 2020. The October 2020 post explicitly describes Marble Age as a game "released back in 2014" that was "good, but not great," framing Remastered as its replacement rather than an extension of the original. There have been no developer communications about Marble Age itself since February 2, 2017 — over nine years ago as of today. No future content has ever been announced, no DLC exists, and the studio has publicly moved on to other products. The game launched as a complete, self-contained product and received post-launch polish patches before development concluded.
Evidence
Developer announced Marble Age: Remastered as a new, improved standalone game, describing the original Marble Age as a past release that was 'good, but not great.' This signals that the original game's development has concluded and the studio has moved on.
