Max's Big Bust - A Captain Nekorai Tale

Max's Big Bust launched out of Early Access on February 6, 2017. The game's story content was completed prior to that launch — on January 31, 2017, the developer posted that the "final story update is now live" and that the story was "100% complete," with only minor remaining tasks (virtual pet system overhaul and Steam Achievements) before leaving Early Access. The game shipped as a complete, finished visual novel/life sim with no post-launch DLC or content expansions. Since release, the developer's news posts on this game's page have been announcements of entirely separate games from the same studio — most notably Alluna and Brie (April 2019) and Help! I'm Turning Into A Mermaid! (January 2026). None of these posts indicate any new content planned for Max's Big Bust itself. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmaps, and no developer statements suggesting further updates to this title. Max's Big Bust is a self-contained, complete game. Anyone interested in purchasing it can do so knowing it is the full experience the developer intended to deliver.
